The Hottest Autumn/Winter Eyewear Trends 2016
You always need a decadent pair of sunglasses all year round! And glasses-wearers know all too well the hassle of finding nice prescription eyeglasses. Personally, I'm very sensitive to light and I'm tortured finding a nice, pretty pair of glasses that will help. I was delighted when the Glasses Shop got in touch with me and offered me a pair of prescription sunglasses of my choice to try out and a discount code for my readers.
MY NEW FRAMES
GlassesShop.com is a pretty cool online store which allows you totally personalise and customise your glasses frames to a doctor quality. I picked out the Hoboken Cat Eye frames in Black/Clear with a super dark, tinted lens. You can pick out just a frame or add a lens which can be customized to suit your prescription or just left standard if you prefer.
These cost £14.04 for the frame only and lenses have an additional cost depending on your requirements. The frames and lens themselves were great quality and I had no issues. However I did feel the arms were a little weak so I'm not comfortable popping them on top of my head incase they slipped off. Could be my giant head though.
Of course GlassesShop.com has a pretty wide variety of glasses frames which are total dupes for some of the runway trends but at a fraction of a price. I loved this classic style and paired with a red lip and leather jacket, they looked pretty dang cool. Especially, rolling up in this retro BMW*.
Some of the hottest eyewear trends for the Autumn/Winter 2016 include the comeback of the oversized frames (flashbacks to my Paris Hilton phase), a funky twist on the classic aviator, round lensed cat eyes, and even colourful, plastic-looking lenses. I've picked out some of my favourite styles from the GlassesShop.com below:
Guess what? Whatever you choose, you get 50% off all eyeglasses and sunglasses with the code GSHOT50 with free lenses (excluding sales frames). What look will you be rocking this winter?
