Day 10 of Blogtober brings me to write about my favourite product. Now any Beauty Blogger know's the danger of being biased or even just choosing a favourite product. You've got your Holy Grail staples and then your favourites which will change with the wind (or at least, the seasons).

So instead of a "favourite", I'm going to tell you all about my latest obsession; the only palette you will need this fall.

THE NUDES PALETTE

New on the scene earlier this year, Maybelline was jumping on the Naked dupe trend admittedly a little late! Now many consider this 12 shade palette to be a great drugstore dupe for Urban Decay's Original Naked palette but personally I think its in a legue of it's own. Too many products are considered dupe when they should really be recognised on their own.

This palette has 12 beautiful creamy powder shadows in a range of warm, nuetrals and cools with irridescent, pearl, matte and shimmer finishes. Speaking of finishes, the shimmery shades are shimmery through and through so you don't loose the glitter after the first swipe.

This palette also has a handy guide on the back with full-proof instructions of what shadows to wear together and where to play them. I find my self reaching for this palette more and more over my other shadows or palettes. As for pigmentation, the shades offer a very nice, buildable colour (so if your a newbie you really can't muck it up!). My only qualm is the darlk purple-ish brown (third one in on the right, bottom row) is very very very sheer, painfully so, in fact. You'd hope to have a beautiful wash of shimmery hot chocolate then you're going to be let down my friend.

I also love the portablity of this product. It's small so I can actually fit it in my makeup bag but it also has enough colour variety that if it was the only product I had, I would survive! You can pick this up from Boots or Superdrug for around £9.99. If you'd like to see some beautiful but simple tutorials using this palette, let me know in the comments below!
