Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24HR Shadows
If you're a fan of the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots then you'll love these! In fact, these have been around for a little while now and I assumed it would be a given that everyone would have at least one of them by now. However thats not the case so I thought I would share with you my thoughts on them. Keep reading!
I have three of them in my collection. They are really handy for if you're in a rush, a quick swipe to the lids and a coat of mascara and you look good to go! I usually go for On and On Bronze for everyday, or Rose Gold if I'm going for a cute cat eye.
These can be a little tricky to work with but you get the hang of it quickly. They're quite pigmented and smooth to apply. You can layer the colour too for a deeper, more intense colour.
As you can see, 2 coats just off my fingertips give a vibrant colour (with no primer underneath). They last all day (or all night, if you please) without creasing or fading and they are super simple to touch up if you need to. They are actually quite tricky to get washed off my hand but with a good eye makeup remover like Garnier Micellar Water, they come away from your face simply.
My favourite way to wear the 24K Gold is blended across the lid with black liner smoked into my water line and outer corner with lots of mascara. The contrast with my blue eyes is amazing!
I also like to use these little pots with a brush to detail my eyes. For example, finishing off my cat eye:
You can also use these as a base for your shadows too for a more intense look.
